Appeal After Crumlin Rd Shop Robbed At Knifepoint
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an armed robbery in north Belfast.
On Sunday, 24th September, at around 8.30pm, a man entered a shop on the Crumlin Road, threatening staff with a knife and demanding money. After taking a sum of money from two tills, the man fled the scene across the Crumlin Road and into McCandless Street.
The man is said to have been wearing a blue jacket with light coloured trousers and dark trainers.
Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Thankfully, the staff member was unharmed but left shaken by what was obviously a terrifying experience.
"Our investigation is now underway and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information, CCTV or mobile footage, or who saw a man matching this description, to call police on 101, quoting reference number 1544 24/09/23."

Police Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Fermanagh
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Co Fermanagh. A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.

The former Crumlin Road Courthouse in Belfast is to be transformed into a new hotel. Planning permission has been granted for Liverpool-based developer Lawrence Kenwright to build its third hotel in the city. Belfast City Council's planning committee approved the plans, which include a new roof extension.
