Man Arrested In Connection With Newry Stabbing Incident
A 44-year-old man has been arrested by officers investigating a stabbing in Newry.
At approximately 5pm on Monday, 18 September, police received a report that a man, aged in his 30s, had been stabbed inside a property in the Richmond Court area of the city.
Officers attended alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, who provided treatment at the scene for a stab wound to the man's upper body area.
The man remains in hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Later that same evening, officers arrested a man on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody at this time, assisting officers with their enquiries.
Inspector Tate said: "Our investigation is underway and anyone who thinks they could help with our ongoing enquiries or has mobile footage of what happened, can contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1309 18/09/23."

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
