Man Arrested In Connection With South Belfast Burglaries
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two burglaries in south Belfast early this morning, Wednesday 13 September.
According to a reports, a young female student woke up at around 7.30am this morning to find a man in her room in the Wellesley Avenue area, attempting to take a number of her possessions. The man fled the scene and police were called.
A short time later, at about 7.50am, police received a second report that a man had gained entry to a property in the nearby Wellington Park. Responding officers located and arrested a man on suspicion of two counts of burglary with intent to steal. He remains in police custody at this time.
Police have appeal to anyone with any information that might assist with the investigation, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 211 13/09/23.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.
