Appeal For Witnesses To Serious Collision On Clooney Road

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist in L'Derry.

Shortly after 9pm on Wednesday 6th September, emergency services were called to the scene of a collision on the Clooney Road, near the airport roundabout. The male rider of a blue Honda bike was taken to hospital by NIAS for treatment of his injuries, including to his leg, and where he remains.

Sergeant McGurk said: "I want to take this opportunity to thank members of the public who stopped at the scene to help. I am also appealing to anyone who was on Clooney Road, and who witnessed what occurred or captured dash cam footage of what happened to get in touch with us."

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
