Cars, Motorcycles And Jet-Ski Seized In Downpatrick

A series of search operations have been carried out across Downpatrick by detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch, assisted by officers from Tactical Support Group.

Seized items included four high value cars, three trial motorcycles, a jet-ski and a large sum of cash. The total value of items seized being well in excess of £200,000.

The PSNI said no arrests have been made but that the investigation is ongoing.

Detective Sergeant Murphy said: "Organised Crime Groups remain a priority for us. They seek to make money from exploiting others, without care for the misery and devastation they cause to people's lives.

Thirty Cars Damaged By Youths In South Belfast
PSNI are hunting for two young males who allegedly damaged thirty cars parked in the West Belfast area. The youngsters are reported to have "scratched along the entire sides of these vehicles while walking past them", causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Appeal After Cars Damaged In Hospital Carpark
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a number of cars were damaged on the grounds of of a hospital on the Lisburn Road on the evening of Friday, 5th July. Making the appeal, Inspector McCrum said: "A report was received shortly after 10pm that the windscreens of up to 11 vehicles parked in the area had been broken.

Men Jailed Over 'Terrifying' Threats To Kill Incident
Two men have been jailed after pleading guilty to making threats to kill. 36-year-old Jonathan Sterling, of Belfast and 41-year-old Stephen McLaughlin, of Belfast were both sentenced to 12 months, six months custody and six months on licence after their guilty plea on June 1st 2023.

Airport Seizures: Men Held
A passenger arriving from the Continent into Belfast International Airport has been arrested after the seizure of 250g cocaine. The 26-year-old Londonderry man was held after the cocaine with a street value of some £15,000-£20,000 was found during a search of luggage on a flight from Amsterdam.

Drugs Worth £220,000 Seized In PSNI Operations
Two people have been arrested and drugs worth an estimated £220,000 have been seized in a series of intelligence-led searches across Limavady and Antrim, led by the Limavady Neighbourhood Policing Team, supported by colleagues from Antrim and the District Support Team.
