Appeal For Information On North Belfast Arson Attack

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an arson attack on a house in north Belfast on the evening of Sunday 27 August.

According to police, at approximately 10pm, they received a report that the front door of a property in the Cliftonpark Avenue area had been set on fire.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the blaze which is believed to have been started by an accelerant being poured on the door and set alight.

Inspector Hamilton said: "We are treating this as arson with intent to endanger life and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with CCTV, doorbell or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1836 of 27/08/23."

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack on a property in Armagh in the early hours of Saturday 22 April. Appeal For Information Following Arson Attack In West Belfast
Police have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack in west Belfast. According to reports, a flat at Glasvey Drive was targeted when a wheelie bin was pushed up against the front door and set alight at around 5am on Sunday.

PSNI Appeal For Information After Cars Set Alight In North Belfast
The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

Police Appeal For Witnesses To North Belfast Fire
The PSNI have issued an appeal for witnesses following an arson attack on a property in north Belfast on Wednesday 05 September. Shortly before 9.45am it was reported that an unoccupied flat on Woodland Avenue was on fire. It is believed that entry had been gained to the property before the fire started in the kitchen area.
