Arrest Made In Connection With PSNI Data Breach
A 50-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the PSNI data breach.
A search operation was conducted in the Dungiven area earlier today, Friday 18 August, as part of an investigation into criminality linked to the personal information of PSNI officers and civilian staff, that was mistakenly included in a response to a Freedom of Information Request.
A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act and is being questioned by Detectives at Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.
Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Hill said: "We continue to work toward establishing those who possess information relating to last week's data breach, and will take action to ensure that any criminality identified is dealt with robustly to keep communities, and our officers and staff who serve them, safe."

Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the attempted murder of a two PSNI officers. The suspects, aged 29 and 32, have been detained under a European Arrest Warrant. The arrests were in connection with a bomb discovered attached to a police officer's vehicle in L'Derry in June 2015.

Malcolm McKeown: Police Make One Arrest
Detectives probing the fatal shooting of Malcolm McKeown outside a Co Down petrol station have arrested a man in his twenties. Mr McKeown, aged 54, was found dead in his car outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August. He had been shot six times. The suspect, aged 26, has been taken to Musgrave Station for questioning.

Man Extradited From France Over Alleged Rape
A man has been extradited from France to Northern Ireland over an alleged rape. The 26-year-old Romanian national was extradited from Lyon using a European Arrest Warrant. A spokesperson from the PSNI said: "The man is sought for trial in Northern Ireland following an alleged offence of rape in the Portadown area in 2014.
