Two Men Charged In Connection With Loyalist Feud

Two men have been charged in connection with a loyalist feud in Ards and North Down.

Police investigating criminal activity linked to the feud between rival groups arrested the men in Newtownards on Thursday, 17 August.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with two counts of possession of a class A controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug.

He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court on Friday.

A 44-year-old man has been charged with possession of a class A controlled drug, being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug, and encouraging or assisting offences believing one or more will be committed.

He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court on Wednesday, September 13.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Two Men Charged Following East Belfast Drug Arrests
Two men have been charged in connection with a drug operation in East Belfast. PSNI officers arrested two men at about 12:30pm on Monday, 04 July in the Beersbridge Road area of East Belfast in an operation which also lead to the seizure of a quantity of heroin and a sum of cash.

Three Charged Over Sudden Deaths In Lisburn
Three people have been charged following an investigation into the sudden deaths of two men in the Lisburn area, in May and August of 2023. A 35-year-old woman has been charged with a number of drug-related offences, including being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, and administering poison to aggrieve.

Suspect Due In Court Over £180k Drug Find
A man charged with a range of drug related offences following the seizure of £180,000 worth of controlled substances is due in court today, Wednesday 13 November. The suspect, aged 26, was charged after a vehicle containing suspected Class A drugs was seized on Friday 08 November.
