Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In Dungannon

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious assault in Dungannon in the early hours of Monday, 07 August.

Just after 2.40am, police received a report of an injured man in the Irish Street area of the town. When police attended the scene they found a man, aged in his late teens, with serious head injuries. Police have said that they believe a number of men had been involved in an altercation.

Detective Sergeant Robinson said: "We are keen to speak to two men, the first of whom is described as being aged in his thirties, around 6' in height, of heavy build and clean shaven. He was described as being shirtless, but wearing blue jeans and brown shoes.

"The second male was described as being around 6' 2" tall, of heavy build, with dark hair and wearing a black t-shirt, black trousers and black trainers. He was also described as having a 'full-sleeve' tattoo on one arm.

"Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything to contact us on 101, quoting reference 141 of 7/8/23.

"We are aware of video footage on social media and would ask that people not share this, but instead, provide us with any dashcam, CCTV or other video footage they have that may help with our investigation.

Appeal For Information On Violent Street Robbery

Appeal Issued For Two Missing Teenage Girls
The PSNI have issued an appeal to help trace two missing teenagers. Cora Campbell and Emma McNally were last seen in Newtownards at around 2pm on Monday, 02 January. Police believe they may have travelled to the Belfast area together. Cora is described as being around 5ft 3inches in height with short purplish hair.

Investigation Launches After Young Teen Approached By Man
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a young teenager was approached by a man in Portstewart. In an incident described as a "suspicious approach", the young teenager was in the Station Road area of the town on Wednesday 02 August, when they where approached by a man, aged in his 60s, at approximately 3.10pm.
