Man Attacked In Sectarian-Related Hate Crime In L'Derry

A man, aged in his 30s, has been attacked in a sectarian-related hate crime in L’Derry.

The assault occurred just before 11pm on Sunday, 16 July.

A number of men attached the victim and shouted sectarian abuse at him on the Baranailt Road. The men made off in a Silver Leon car.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh
A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Man Attacked By Masked Men In Co Antrim
A man has been injured after being attacked by masked men in Co Antrim. Three individuals, who were armed with bats, assaulted the man in an alleyway in Greenland in Carrickfergus on Tuesday, 31 May. The victim sustained injuries to his arm and side. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Four Men Arrested Over Explosive Device In West Belfast Released
Four men arrested in connection with an explosive device in west Belfast last year have been released from custody. The device was found in the Pantridge Road area on 30 October. Three men arrested under the Terrorism Act have been released unconditionally.
