Appeal Following 'Creeper Style' Burglary In South Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a 'creeper style' burglary in south Belfast in the early hours of this morning, Monday 3 July.
At approximately 4.30am, it was reported that entry had been gained to a property in the Ava Drive area and a number of personal items had been taken including keys to a silver Ford Fiesta Zetec which was parked outside.
The vehicle was later seen being driven on the Grosvenor Road heading towards west Belfast.
Enquiries are continuing and anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area or anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage that could assist with the investigation is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 203 03/07/23.

Shots Fired Through Window In L'Derry
Shots have been fired through the window of a house in L'Derry. A couple and their daughter were in the property at the time of the attack, which occurred in the Whitethorn Drive area at around 10.45pm on Thursday. A number of shots were fired through the window and the occupants were not injured.

Woman shot in abdomen during domestic incident
A 45-year-old woman is in a stable condition in hospital after being shot in the stomach on the outskirts of west Belfast. The incident, which police believe to have been a domestic dispute, took place at a farmhouse in Wheelers Road, Hannahstown. The remains of a bouquet of flowers were found across the yard outside their front door.

Number Of Incidents Reported At East Belfast Interface Areas
A number of incidents at the interface areas in east Belfast have been reported to the police over the last few nights. DUP East Belfast MP Gavin Robinson is calling for "cool heads on all sides" so that problems at the interface between the Short Strand and Newtownards Road do not escalate.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a security alert in Newry on Monday, 01 January. The alert began when it was reported to police that a suspicious object had been left in the Drumgullion Avenue area at around 2.50pm. A number of homes in the area were evacuated as officers conducted a public safety operation in the area.
