Two Men Arrested After North Belfast Aggravated Burglary
The PSNI have arrested two men in connection with an aggravated burglary in North Belfast on Saturday, 24th June.
Sometime between the hours of midnight and 03:00am two men reportedly entered a house in the Northwick drive area, with one of the men armed with what was suspected to be a hatchet.
The victim, a man aged in his 40s, received facial injuries and a stab wound to the shoulder. The windows and the front door of the property were also damaged during the incident.
The two men, aged 28 and 29, have been arrested on the suspicion of aggravated burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm as well as criminal damage. Both men are currently in police custody at this time.
Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information or who may have dash-cam footage available, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 407 24/06/23. The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Just before midnight, police received a report that a member of the public had been approached by a distressed woman who stated that men were in her home trying to attack her husband. The woman, aged in her 50s, had a facial injury.

Police have arrested three individuals following an attack during an aggravated burglary in east Belfast yesterday, Thursday 04 April. Two men, aged 32 and 34, and a woman aged 35 were detained following the Channing Street incident.
