Vehicle Seized In Omagh Security Alert Investigation
Detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit have seized a vehicle as part of an investigation into a vehicle hijacking and subsequent security alert in Omagh on Saturday, 6th May 2023.
Detective Chief Inspector Hamilton said: "Today we seized a white Honda SUV which has been taken away for further examination.
"I believe this is a significant development in the investigation. I would appeal to anyone who has information about the car or the person driving it in the Omagh area on Saturday 6th May 2023 to contact police.
"Our investigation continues and I am appealing to anyone with information, or who may have captured dash cam footage, to please come forward."

Murder Investigation Launched Into Disappearance Of Damien Heagney
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have launched a murder investigation into the disappearance of 47-year-old Damien Heagney from Cookstown. Mr Heagney was reported missing on Tuesday 19 July and police have said that they are "keeping an open mind" they now believe that he has been murdered.

Policing Board locked in talks over Omagh investigation
The Northern Ireland Policing Board remained locked in talks for much of Thursday as they discussed the future direction the Omagh bomb investigation should take. The Board, which is made up of individuals from both sides of the political divide met on Thursday, February 7, in an attempt to hammer out a compromise at Clarendon Dock.

Police Make Arrest Over 2004 Murder
A man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Kevin McAlorum in Co Antrim over fifteen years ago. Mr McAlorum was gunned down outside a primary school in Derriaghy on 03 June 2004. The 55-year-old man was arrested under the Terrorism Act in Belfast by the PSNI's Major Investigation Team on Tuesday 17 September.

Three In Hospital After Police Vehicle Collides With Another Vehicle
Two police officers and a civilian remain in hospital following a collision in Newry on Saturday, 13 April. It is understood that the police officers were travelling in a police vehicle to attend a separate incident at about 7.30pm when they collided with another vehicle on the Fathom Road.
