Men Armed With Machetes Attack House In West Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a two men armed with machetes burgled a house in west Belfast on Monday 05 June.
According to police, shortly before 7.30pm two men, wearing dark coloured clothing and armed with machetes, entered a house in the Larkspur Rise area and caused damage inside and outside the property and threatened the female occupant to leave the area. Both males are then believed to have made off on foot in the direction of the Suffolk Road. The occupant was not physically injured but was left deeply shaken following the incident.
Officers would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or who may have dash-cam or doorbell footage from the area which could assist with their enquiries, to contact them at Woodbourne on 101, quoting reference number 1905 05/06/23. A report can be submitted online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or you can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org/.

A teenager has been injured after men armed with machetes broke into a house in Newry. The incident happened in the Talbot Street area at around 2am on Tuesday, 05 June. A 17-year-old boy is receiving hospital treatment after he sustained injuries to his nose and cuts to his arms and leg.

Four Men Charged With Assault At Ards Shopping Centre
Four men have appeared in court charged in connection with an assault at a shopping centre in the Circular Road area of Newtownards on Friday, 31 March. At around 3.30pm, police were called to the shopping centre after a man had been assaulted by a number of masked men. It was also reported that they then left the area in a BMW vehicle.

Woman Assaulted During Aggravated Burglary In Newtownabbey
A woman has been assaulted during an aggravated burglary in Newtownabbey. A number of masked and armed men forced entry to a property in the Forthill Drive area at around 10.15pm on Wednesday, 19 September. A woman who was in the house at the time was attacked and sustained an injury to her lip. Three other people in the property were not injured.
