67-Year-Old Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Sean Fox

A 67-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Sean Fox in west Belfast in October, 2022.

Mr Fox was shot dead inside the Donegal Celtic Sports and Social Club on the Suffolk Road in west Belfast on the afternoon of Sunday 2 October 2022.

Detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team made the arrest on the morning of Monday, 05 June. The man was detained under the Terrorism Act and remains in custody at the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave.

The PSNI said that their investigation into the murder is ongoing and renewed an appeal for information.

Man Arrested In Connection With Sean Fox Murder Investigation
PSNI detectives investigating the murder of Sean Fox in west Belfast in 2022 have arrested a 40-year-old man. The man was arrested following searches in west Belfast this morning, 1 February. The suspect was arrested under the Terrorism Act, and has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning.

Man Arrested In Connection With Sean Fox Murder
A 44-year-old man has been arrested and a quantity of suspected ammunition seized in a PSNI operation in west Belfast in connection with the investigation into the murder of Sean Fox. Mr Fox (42) was murdered inside the Donegal Celtic Sports and Social Club on the Suffolk Road in west Belfast on Sunday, 2nd October.

Murder Investigation Launched Into Disappearance Of Damien Heagney
The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have launched a murder investigation into the disappearance of 47-year-old Damien Heagney from Cookstown. Mr Heagney was reported missing on Tuesday 19 July and police have said that they are "keeping an open mind" they now believe that he has been murdered.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
