Appeal For Information On Petrol Bomb Attack In Ballywalter
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following an petrol bomb attack in Ballywalter on the evening of Friday 21 April.
Just before 11pm, police received a report that a car had been set alight outside a property in the Greyabbey Road area.
Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended and the fire was extinguished.
This is being treated as arson and detectives are investigating a possible link to the ongoing feud between rival drugs gangs across Ards and North Down.
Anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the area at the time of the fire or anyone with dash-cam or CCTV footage that could assist with enquiries is asked to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 2440 of 21/04/23.
Anyone with any information about this incident or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call detectives on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 100 29/04/21, or to submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. Stalking Protections Proving Successful
The Justice Minister, Naomi Long, has welcomed new figures demonstrating the success of enhanced stalking protections in Northern Ireland. An addendum to the first report on the Protection from Stalking Act (NI) 2022 shows that 90% of conviction cases for stalking and threatening or abusive behaviour were dealt with within a year.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in south Belfast in the early hours of Saturday 4th November. According to police, at approximately 1.30am it was report that 4 people – 3 men and one woman – arrived a flat in the Cameron Street area armed with hammers and a knife.
