Appeal For Information On Ballynahinch Arson Attack

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack on a property in Ballynahinch in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 6 April.

At approximately 2.30am, police received a report of a fire at an upstairs flat in the Windmill Drive area of the town.

Officers, along with colleagues from NIFRS attended and discovered that and oil tank had been set alight and a bin had been wedged against a door.

The fire was extinguished and luckily no one was in the property at the time.

Inspector Heatley said: "We are treating this as arson with intent to endanger life and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area at the time or anyone who may have CCTV, dash-cam or doorbell footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 106 of 06/04/23."

PSNI Investigating Arson Of Greenisland Church
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fire at a church and church hall in Greenisland last night, Sunday 1st September. At approximately 9.10pm, police received a report of a fire at the property on the Station Road. Police and the Northern Ireland Fire Service attended and the blaze was extinguished.

At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an arson incident in the Newtownards area in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, 18th May. At around 4.30am police received a report that a car was on fire in the Killard Avenue area of the town.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In North Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a fire at a property in north Belfast on the evening of Tuesday 2nd July. At approximately 10.10pm police received a report that four masked men had broken a window and thrown a petrol bomb inside a flat in the Cliftonpark Avenue area.

Appeal For Information On Armagh Arson Attack
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following an arson attack on a property in Armagh in the early hours of Saturday 22 April. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Best said: "At approximately 3.30am, we received a report that the front door of a house in the Drumadd Green area had been doused in accelerant and set alight.
