Man Arrested Over Serious Assault In Belfast City Centre
A man has been arrested in connection with an assault in Belfast city centre in the early hours of Sunday 02 April.
Detective Sergeant Kennedy said: "Shortly after 4:05am, it was reported that three men were assaulted in the area by another man. Three 18-year-old men were taken to hospital for their injuries.
"A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage. He remains in police custody at this time.
"Enquiries are continuing and at this stage, the incident is being treated as a sectarian motivated hate crime. We would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 367 02/04/23.
"Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org/."

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
