Man Jailed For Drug Offences At Craigavon Crown Court
The PSNI have welcomed the sentencing of a 30-year-old man at Craigavon Crown Court for a number of drug offences.
Gary Scullion was convicted of possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs with intent to supply, and possession of Class A and Class B controlled drugs.
Detective Constable Jennings said: "Officers carried out searches at a property in the Lurgan area in April 2021. As a result of this proactive policing operation, a quantity of cocaine, with a potential estimated street value of £200,000 was recovered and seized.
"Police also seized a quantity of Class B drugs, drugs paraphernalia and mobile phones during the search.
"Another search was conducted in February 2022 and a further quantity of Class A drugs was also seized on this occasion.
"I hope that this investigation and the fact that Scullion has been brought before the court offers reassurance that we, along with partner organisations, remain committed to disrupting the activities of those involved with illegal drugs.
"The efforts are in keeping with Operation Dealbreaker – that's our organisational commitment to tackle every aspect of drug misuse across Northern Ireland, and that includes its harrowing impact on the lives and relationships of local people.
"We're grateful to the public for their continued support and would ask anyone with information, or concerns, to contact us on 101."
