Three Arrested Following 'Reckless Attacks' In Ards And Bangor
Three men have been arrested in connection with a number of incidents in Ards and North Down over the weekend.
Two arrests were made under the Terrorism Act – a 29-year-old man in Newtownards and a 53-year-old man in Hillsborough.
Separately in Newtownards, a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
All three remain in custody at this time.
A number of searches were conducted in the Newtownards area as part of the ongoing operation. A number of items were removed for further examination.
The PSNI continue to appeal to the community to help our investigation and provide any information they have on who might be responsible for these attacks by calling us on 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Detectives to revisit murder scene
Detectives are to revisit the scene of last week’s murder of 25-year-old Jameson Lockhart later on Friday. There will be checkpoints on the lower Newtownards Road and Templemore Avenue in east Belfast close to where Mr Lockhart was shot dead. Detectives said they wanted to talk to motorists who were in the area last Friday morning.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Three men released without charge
Three men arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of North Belfast man Jameson Lockhart have been released without charge. Mr Lockhart was fatally shot as he sat in a lorry at the junction of Templemore Avenue on the Lower Newtownards Road in east Belfast, in July 2005.

Three men has been arrested as part of a proactive policing operation in Newtownards. The men, aged 21, 24 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of various related drugs offences after a police stopped and searched in the Castlebawn Drive area.
