Appeal For Information On Two Petrol Bomb Attacks
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following two petrol bomb attacks in Bangor and Newtownards over the weekend.
In Newtownards, emergency services were called to the a house in the Dicksonia Drive area of the town at approximately 10:15pm, were a petrol bomb had reportedly been thrown at a house.
A number of windows were broken and extensive damage was caused to the front property.
Detective Sergeant Cargin said: "Luckily no one was at home at the time of the attack, which is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life
"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area at the time or who may have CCTV or doorbell footage that could assist with enquiries. To contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1963 of 25/03/23."
Separately, in Bangor, a petrol bomb was thrown at a Skipperstone Road area at approximately 1am on the same night.
Detective Sergeant Cargin said: "A number of windows were broken and scorch damage was caused to the property during the attack and the three people who were in the house at the time were uninjured.
"This attack is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life and I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area at the time or who may have CCTV or doorbell footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 80 of 25/03/23."
The PSNI have given no indication of these two incidents being connected.

Exploded device found in County Down
Police in County Down have been attacked by missiles and petrol bombs, while attending the scene of a security alert yesterday. The incident happened while officers were tasked to the Newry bypass close to the border with the Irish Republic. Youths as young as 10-years-old threw up to 30 petrol bombs at police, and one youth was arrested.

Appeal For Information After Man Attacks House With Golf Club
PSNI Detectives are appealing for information following a report of criminal damage at a house in the Raceview Avenue area of Ballymoney yesterday evening, Monday 20th February. Shortly after 9pm, a man dressed in black and wearing blue gloves, arrived at the property and began to attack the front door with a golf club.

Appeal For Information On Lurgan Petrol Bomb Attacks
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after petrol bombs was thrown at two house in Lurgan on Wednesday, 28 June. Shortly before 1.20am, police received a report that two petrol bombs were thrown at two houses in the Tannaghmore View area. There were no reports of any injuries but both houses suffered scorch damage.
