Woman's Death In Portadown Being Treated As Murder

The PSNI's Major Investigation Team have launched a murder investigation following the death of a woman in Portadown.

Emergency services responded to reports of a house fire in the Church Street area of Portadown at around 2.15am this morning, Tuesday 21 March.

A 37-year-old woman found at the scene was pronounced dead and the PSNI have now launched a murder investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Detective Chief Inspector Rachel Wilson said: "Our investigation continues, and I am appealing to anyone with information, or who witnessed anything untoward, to please get in touch. Likewise, if you have captured dash cam footage, please contact officers on 101 quoting reference number 92 of 21/03/23."

Investigation Launched After Sudden Death Of Teenager In Portadown
Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a teenager in Portadown. It is believed the body of the 16-year-old boy was found at his house on Tuesday, 22 August. Investigation Launched After Sudden Death Of Man In Larne
Police have launched an investigation following the sudden death of a man in Lane. It happened in the vicinity of the Inver River at around 7pm on Monday, 15 May, according to the PSNI. A post-mortem is to be carried out to determine the cause of death. No further details have been released.

Murder Investigation Launched Into Death Of Woman In L'Derry
The death of a woman in a flat in L'Derry city centre in the early hours of Saturday, 24 August, is being investigated as murder. A fire was reported in a ground floor flat on Harvey Street at around 4.15am. Crews from NI Fire and Rescue Service responded along with NI Ambulance Service and police officers.

Investigation Launched Following Fatal Crash In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a fatal crash in Co Antrim. The collision, between a bus and a car, happened in Randalstown at around 2.45pm on Sunday, 11 February. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of injuries she sustained in the incident. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
