Delivery Driver Hit By His Own Van During Robbery
A man is being treated in hospital after he was struck by his own delivery van when it was stolen in Craigavon on Monday, 20 March.
The victim had delivered a parcel to a house in Lakeview Court at around 6.45pm and was then struck on the back on the head while he walked back to his white Ford Transit. He fell to the ground and his attacker then stole the van and made off, striking the victim as he got to his feet. The victim has sustained some injuries which will require hospital treatment.
The suspect is described as being in his 40s, with black hair and beard. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black bottoms.
Detectives investigating this crime would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dashcam or any other footage in the area. Please call 101, quoting reference 1915 of 20/03/23.

Man Abducted And Shot In West Belfast
A man has been abducted and shot in west Belfast. The victim, aged 28, was forced into a white van as he was walking near the Colinmill area in Poleglass on Wednesday, 03 May. He was brought to Jamaica Street and shot once in each ankle. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man to appear in court on robbery charges
An 18-year-old man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today charged with attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to rob a cash delivery van. The charges relate to an incident, which occurred on November 24, 2005, outside a store on the Shore Road in Newtownabbey.

Van Ablaze As Road Crash Victim Dies
A van has been left blazing and a man, believed to be in his late 20s, has died following a traffic collision in Co Down. Five other people were taken to the Royal Victoria hospital in Belfast, two are understood to be in a critical condition, the other three are said to be stable. The Ballynahinch Road has been closed. Diversions are in operation.
