Woman Dies Following M2 Collision

A woman who sustained serious injuries in a road traffic crash on the M2 on Sunday, 05 March, has died.

The PSNI confirmed the woman who died was 59-year-old Jenny Dunlop.

Sergeant Smart said: "Officers, along with colleagues from other emergency services received and responded to a report of a four-vehicle road traffic collision shortly after 9.20pm on Sunday on the M2 southbound, close to the Sandyknowes junction in Newtownabbey.

"Jenny was taken to hospital, but has sadly passed away from her injuries.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision on Sunday evening or to anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.

"I am also appealing to the driver of a dark coloured saloon taxi who we believe was in the area at the time of the collision travelling towards Belfast to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference 1663 05/03/23."

Woman Dies In Co Fermanagh Crash
A woman has died in a one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Newbridge Road in Derrylin just after midnight on Saturday. Another woman and a man were taken to hospital to be treated. Their injuries are believed to be serious. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.
