Appeal For Information On Mullach Allainn Burglary
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the report of a burglary in the Mullach Allainn area of Newry.
Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Dougherty said: "Police received a report shortly after 7.50pm on Friday, 3rd March that a burglary had occurred at a property in the area.
"It was reported thieves gained entry to the property and ransacked rooms. No one was home at the time and at this stage it is believed nothing was taken. However, our investigation remains ongoing.
"We are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area around the time of the burglary to get in touch with police on 101, quoting reference number 1771 of 03/03/23."

Police received a report that sometime after 4.30pm and before 9pm on Thursday, 1st December, a sum of cash was taken from a property in the Alanbrooke Avenue area.

According to police, a window was smashed and entry was gained to the property around 8:25pm. The house was thoroughly ransacked, resulting in the loss of a significant amount of money, jewellery, and antiques.
