Appeal For Information On Newtownards Shooting Incident
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in the Newtownards area on the evening of Saturday 18th February.
Superintendent Johnston McDowell said: "It was reported at around 10:45pm that shots were fired through the front door of a property in The Meadows area of Newtownards. A number of masked males entered the property and assaulted the male occupant who, as a result, sustained serious injuries. The males then made off from the scene.
"Horrific violence has been inflicted on this man and we strongly condemn this attack. We want to reassure the public that all measures will be taken to bring the perpetrators to justice.
"Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the Meadows area at the time and saw any suspicious activity, or who may have any CCTV footage captured or any other information which could assist, to contact us on 101, and quote reference number 2007 of 18/02/23."

Further Race-Related Hate Crime Takes Place In Belfast
Police dealt with a number of race-related hate crime, incidents and disorder last night (8 August) in south and east Belfast. In south Belfast, car was set on fire and a window of a house was broken into on Benburb Street. Windows of a house were also smashed in Kilburn Street.

PSNI Investigates Vandalism Spree In Bangor
Police are investigating a spate of vandalism incidents that occurred in the Bangor area on Sunday, 3rd November. In the early hours of the morning, a business premises in the Balloo Avenue area was targeted. The suspects smashed two window panes, causing significant damage estimated to be in the thousands of pounds.
