Appeal For Information On ATM Theft

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information on a theft from an ATM machine at a filling station in the Articlave area.

Making the appeal, Detective Inspector Jack said: "Police received a report shortly after 12pm on Wednesday, 15th February that substantial damage had been caused to a bunker housing an ATM at a commercial premises on the Mussenden Road, Articlave.

"There appears to have been forced entry to the bunker, and a heavy steel door located at the rear of the bunker was prised open, before a significant sum of money was taken.

"Our investigation is now underway to determine what happened. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area between 12am and 4am and who may have mobile or dash-cam footage which could assist with our enquiries, to call us on 101, quoting reference number 801 of 15/02/23.

"I also want to urge people to continue to be vigilant, and report to police any suspicious activity they see in their area."

Police issue appeal following knife attack
Police have appealed for information about a serious assault in Londonderry, which resulted in a man receiving 16 stitches to his throat. The 32-year-old man was walking along Westland Street when two men confronted him around 2.30 on Thursday June 13. One pushed him and the other grabbed him from behind and put a knife against his throat.

PSNI Appeal Following Burglary In East Belfast
Detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred in the Lead Hill Park area of east Belfast on Thursday evening, 17 October. According to police, a window was smashed and entry was gained to the property around 8:25pm. The house was thoroughly ransacked, resulting in the loss of a significant amount of money, jewellery, and antiques.
