Appeal Following Serious Assault In Ballymoney
An investigation has been launched following a serious assault in Ballymoney on the evening of Monday 09 January.
Issuing an appeal for information and witnesses, Detective Inspector MacCionáoith said: "Shortly after 8.30pm, police received a report that five masked men armed with a crowbar, sledgehammers and baseball bats entered a property through the front door in the Meadow View area.
"Three occupants of the property, two men and a woman, sustained serious injuries as a result of being assaulted and all required hospital treatment.
"The masked men are believed to have made off on foot prior to officers' arrival in the direction of the Carnany Estate.
"Substantial damage was also caused to the inside of the property and a vehicle parked outside the house.
"This was a terrifying experience for the occupants of the property who all required medical treatment for their injuries. Our investigation is now underway to establish what happened, who was involved and a motive.
"We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, and saw anything suspicious or who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage that could help with our investigation, to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 1665 of 09/01/23."

Police Appeal Issued After Cat Killed In Carrickfergus
Police have launched an investigation after a cat has been killed and several others injured following attacks in the Carrickfergus area over two days. A number of cats have been beaten and one has been killed in the Eden area of County Antrim. Local vets have told the police that the injuries have been inflicted by humans.

Police Issue Appeal To Help Trace Missing 12-Year-Old Boy
Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing 12-year-old boy who was last seen leaving school in Bangor at around 2pm on Monday, 23 September. Kai Oldham was wearing a navy P.E kit and a grey jacket but may have since changed his clothing. Anyone with information is being asked to call 101 quoting reference 1922 of 23/09/24.

Residential property prices in Northern Ireland increased for first time since 2007, according to a new report. The Northern Ireland Residential Property Price Index report for the second quarter of 2013 showed that between quarter one and quarter two, residential property prices increased by 2%.
