Appeal For Information On Violent Street Robbery
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of robbery which occurred at the Fitzroy Avenue area of south Belfast on Monday 2nd January.
Making the appeal, Sergeant Rooney said: "Sometime between 8:20pm and 8:30pm, it was reported that a woman in her 50s was approached by two unknown men who demanded her wallet and phone. The woman then crossed the road, but was approached again by the two men with one of the men pushing the woman against a wall.
"The two men then made off with her phone, a wallet containing bank cards and a sum of money on foot towards the Ormeau Road following the incident.
"One of the men was described as being in his 30s and was described as wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and red trainers. The second man is described as being aged in his 40s, with dark hair and wearing a green jacket, grey trousers and black trainers.
"Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1658 02/01/23. The 32-year-old man was walking along Westland Street when two men confronted him around 2.30 on Thursday June 13. One pushed him and the other grabbed him from behind and put a knife against his throat.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.

Man Remains In Critical Condition Following Antrim Collision
A man remains in a critical condition in hospital following a single vehicle collision in Antrim in the early hours of Sunday, 10 November. Shortly before 1.40am, police received a report that a grey Seat Leon had collided with a wall near the junction of Parkhall Road and Steeple Road.
