Causeway Coast and Glens PSNI Capture Glen Allen
Glen Allen, who had been unlawfully at large after breaching the conditions of his temporary prison release, has been arrested by Causeway Coast and Glens PSNI.
The 34-year-old was convicted in relation to murder following an incident in June 2008.
He was arrested on Tuesday night, 20th December following Police Service appeals to trace his whereabouts.
The PSNI said: "We would like to thank members of the public who responded to the appeal with information. Allen is currently in police custody pending return to prison."

The Causeway Coast and Antrim Glens has been named one of Britain’s Top 10 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The popular Northern Ireland tourist destination secured the accolade in the Period Living & Traditional Homes magazine’s Best of British Awards 2004-05.

A new year-long litter enforcement trial is underway across three council areas in Northern Ireland. Causeway Coast and Glens, Mid and East Antrim and Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon council are working with Waste Investigations Support & Enforcement (WISE) – a specialist supplier of environmental crime services to councils across the UK.
