Two Men Arrested Over Murder Of Mark Lovell

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Mark Lovell in Newry.

The 58-year-old was shot several times at close range in his car near the Ardcarn Park area on 01 December.

Two men, aged 45 and 40, have been detained in police custody.

The arrests followed searches of properties in the Newry area on Wednesday, 07 December.

Police have appealed again for anyone with information to contact them.

Crimestoppers have offered a reward of up to £20,000 for information about the murder.

Three Arrested In Connection With Ballymena Murder
Police are treating the death of a 69-year-old man from Ballymena as murder. The victim was discovered in the Drumtara area on Tuesday afternoon. Two men, aged 41 and 49, and a woman, 47, have been arrested and are in police custody. Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
