Six Men Arrested And Firearms Seized In PSNI Operation
Six men have been arrested and a number of firearms seized in a PSNI Organised Crime Branch operation on Wednesday, 16 October.
Detective Inspector Shaw said: "A vehicle and a number of properties were searched as part of an investigation linked to plans to commit an armed robbery. The six men aged 46, 44, 40, 38 and two aged 34 were arrested on suspicion of robbery related offences and currently remain in custody.
"Four of the men were also arrested on suspicion of drug related offences, including possession of both cocaine and cannabis.
"During the course of searches last night and today, four firearms and a Taser were seized and will now be sent for forensic examination. A large volume of criminal property, including cash and clothing was also seized.
"Information from the public is key in our continued efforts to stop those who profit from illegal activities. I would ask anyone with any information which can assist us to target these individuals to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."

Dungannon men arrested in counterfeit probe
Two men have been arrested in Dungannon, County Tyrone, as part of a long-term investigation into counterfeiting. Police carried out 12 searches in the County Tyrone, County Fermanagh and County Armagh areas and said that the two men arrested on Sunday are aged 38 and 39.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Six Men Arrested Over Paramilitary Style Shootings Released
Six men arrested in connection with paramilitary style shootings in west Belfast have been released unconditionally. The men, aged between 29 and 50, were detained by police on Monday, 28 November, following a number of searches. They were released unconditionally on Tuesday, 30 November.

Six men arrested in counterfeit goods seizure
Six men have been arrested after counterfeit goods worth an estimated £60,000 were seized in south Belfast at the weekend. CD’s, DVD’s and cigarettes were all seized during the planned police operation at a car boot sale in the Village area on Sunday.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.
