Man Arrested In Connection With Ballymoney Stabbing
A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Ballymoney in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 17th November.
Chief Inspector McIldowney said: "Shortly before 1.50am, it was reported that a man was stabbed by another male in the Gate End area of the town.
"The victim, who sustained a puncture wound to his chest during the incident, was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
"A short time later, a man in his 20s was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody at this time, assisting with enquiries.
"Our enquiries are continuing, and we would ask anyone who has any information which could assist us to contact 101, and quote reference number 116 of 17/11/22."

Two men die in separate stabbing incidents
Two people have been killed in separate stabbing incidents in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Hugh McKibben, 51, of Main Street in Carrowdore died in a stabbing incident at a house on Inisharoan Court about midnight on Sunday May 5. Four people were arrested following his murder but three have since been released on police bail.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Newcastle on Thursday 24 August. Shortly before 7am, it was reported that a man in his 70s was located at the Main Street area with stab wound injuries. He was taken to hospital for his injuries.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.
