PSNI Welcome Sentencing Of Joseph McIlvenny
Officers from the Belfast District Support team have welcomed the sentence handed down to Joseph McIlvenny at Newry Crown Court.
McIlvenny was sentenced to 20 months, half of which will be served in prison and half on licence for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and importation of class A Drugs.
In August 2021, officers from the Belfast District Support Team were engaged in a proactive operation to address drug supply in the city.
