Man In Hospital After Dog Attack In Banbridge
A man is receiving hospital treatment after being attacked by a dog in Banbridge, Co Down.
At around 10.50am on Monday, 03 October, police received a report that a man had been attacked by a dog in the Lurgan Road area.
Officers arrived at the scene and brought the dog under control.
One man was taken to hospital after being injured during the incident.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "The matter has been passed to the local dog warden who will be carrying out an investigation."

Hero Army Dog Handlers Honoured
Murdered soldiers who worked with specialist 'sniffer' dogs during the Northern Ireland Troubles have been remembered. The 'Red Paw' and its work across Northern Ireland was the subject of a special memorial service held in England at the weekend. It was in honour of the six dog handlers and two sniffer dogs killed in Northern Ireland.

Belfast Council Moves Dog Fouling Campaign North
Belfast City Council is moving its dog fouling campaign to the north of the city, in a bid to crack down on dog litter. The 'Your dog, your job' campaign was launched in west Belfast last month. The Council says it resulted in a reduction of dog litter in the area by just over a quarter (26%).

A young boy is receiving treatment in hospital after he was attacked by a dog in County Tyrone. Police said the incident happened in the village of Sion Mills on Sunday 11 August. The youngster was left shaken by the dog attack, which is understood to have been the second in the area in just two weeks. The dog warden has been informed.

L'Derry Dogs Offered Free Microchipping
Dog owners in the city of L'Derry are being encouraged to take advantage of a free dog micro-chipping service being offered by the Dogs Trust. The Trust will be offering the service across a range of locations this week. The Mayor, Cllr Kevin Campbell said it was a great opportunity for dog owners to avail of the free service.
