Yellow Weather Warning For Wind Issued
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for for strong winds on Wednesday, 05 October.
The warning is set to last from midnight on Wednesday to 11am.
Gales of up to 80mph are expected in some parts of the country.
The warning has been issued in all counties excluding Fermanagh.
Deputy Chief Meteorologist Rebekah Sherwin said: "There is a chance the deep low pressure system will bring gusts of 70 to 80 mph to northern parts of the UK on Wednesday. Should this develop, disruption to travel and wind damage would be more likely. In addition, heavy rain in the northwest may make travelling more difficult."

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for severe gales and heavy rain throughout Northern Ireland. The warning has been put in place from 6pm on Tuesday, 02 January, until 8pm on Wednesday, 03 January. Strong winds are expected on Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.

A new Yellow Warning has been issued for wind and snow on Wednesday and Thursday this week, covering counties Antrim, Tyrone, Fermanagh, and Londonderry. The Met Office has said that temperatures are set to "drop sharply" on Wednesday evening with snow showers developing throughout the evening.

Huge Wind Turbines Arrive In Belfast
Huge wind turbine blades, the equivalent length of nine double decker London buses, have arrived at Belfast Harbour. The 80 metre long blades are to be used to develop an offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea. Manufactured by MHI Vestas Offshore Wind the 32 turbines will be assembled at the harbour.
