Appeal For Information On 'Racially-Motivated' Assault
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the assault of a woman in L'Derry which is believed to have been racially-motivated.
A woman was walking in the Dungiven Road area of the city at about 2pm on Sunday 11 September when she was attacked by unknown man.
According to police the woman was "verbally assaulted by the man who also kicked her to the upper leg and thigh area and pushed her a few times".
Police described the attack as "completely unprovoked" and have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact them.

Police issue appeal following knife attack
Police have appealed for information about a serious assault in Londonderry, which resulted in a man receiving 16 stitches to his throat. The 32-year-old man was walking along Westland Street when two men confronted him around 2.30 on Thursday June 13. One pushed him and the other grabbed him from behind and put a knife against his throat.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an assault of a woman in L'Derry in the early hours of Sunday, 22 October. At approximately 1am, a woman aged in her 60s, was assaulted by two males on Society Street. The woman was spat on and hit in the face.
