Man Dies In Newry House Fire

An investigation has been launched following a fatal house fire in Newry.

A man has reportedly died in a fire at a terraced house in Stream Street, which was reported to emergency services at around 8:20pm on Monday 12 September.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service have said that they believe the fire was caused by an "accidental ignition", but a full fire investigation will be carried out.

Fatal House Fire In Newtownards
A woman in her 30s has died in a fire at a house in Newtownards, Co. Down. The fire occurred at a house in Ilex Avenue at around 5.30pm and the woman is reported to have died at the scene. An investigation into the circumstances of the death is being conducted by police who have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Man Dies In Road Crash In Co Tyrone
A man has died in a road collision in Co Tyrone. The incident, between a vehicle and a pedestrian, occurred in the Clanabogan Road area of Omaha at around 2.05pm on Friday, 12 July. The road was closed however it has now been re-opened.
