21-Year-Old Man Killed In M1 Motorway Collision

Police are appealing for information after a 21-year-old man died in a single car collision on the M1 near Dungannon on Wednesday morning.

Philip Rainey died at the scene of the crash while driving to pick up his partner and newborn baby from hospital.

The PSNI said they received reports at around 10:40am on Wednesday that a white BMW 520 had left the east-side carriageway of the motorway, near the Stangmore junction.

Anyone who was in the area at the time can contact police on 101, and quote reference number 496 07/09/22.

21-Year-Old Man Dies In Collision With Lorry
A 21-year-old man has died in a collision involving a lorry in the Tullywiggan Road area of Cookstown. The man has been named as Lee Usher from Portadown. It is understood that Mr Usher died at the scene at around 15:45 on Wednesday.

A 21-year-old man has died in a road traffic collision near Gilford, Co Armagh. The man is understood to have died after his motorcycle collided with a tractor on the Ballymacanallen Road at around 1.25pm on Wednesday. An investigation has been launched and police have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.

M1 Crash Claims Life Of Young Man
A 22-year-old man has died after he was hit by a car on the M1 in County Tyrone. Daryl Thompson from the Beragh area died from injuries he sustained in the collision, which happened near Dungannon, on the evening of Saturday 10 November. He was struck by a car while walking between junction 14 and 15 of the motorway.

Police Appeal For Missing 21-Year-Old Man
Police are appealing for information to help trace a missing 21-year-old man. Brendan McClenaghan was last seen in the Castlewellan area on Saturday, 04 November, at around 7pm. He is described as being around 5ft 10 inches in height, of slim to medium build with mousy brown hair.

Ardboe man charged with Cookstown murder
A 23-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of a man in Co Tyrone at the weekend. Unemployed coach builder, Ryan Quinn, from Ardboe, appeared before Enniskillen Magistrates' Court on Monday charged with the murder of 21-year-old Cookstown man, Finbar Francis McVey.
