Security Alert In Portadown Now Ended
A security alert following the discovery of a suspected World War Two grenade in Portadown has now ended.
The device was found on Bridge Street on Tuesday by a member of the public who had been fishing in the River Bann.
Ammunition technical officers attended the scene and confirmed it was a viable device.
A controlled explosion was carried out on the device.
PSNI Inspector Browne said: "We would like to thank the public for their patience while we were dealing with this incident."
All roads have been reopened.

A suspect device has been found by police during a three-day security alert just outside west Belfast. The PSNI confirmed that a horizontal armour-piercing device was discovered in the Poleglass area. A number of residents had to be evacuated from their homes during the alert and the PSNI have blamed dissidents.

Lisburn Security Alert 'A Hoax'
Police have confirmed an earlier security alert in Lisburn, County Antrim, was a hoax. An alert began on Tuesday morning when police received a report that a device may have been left in the Flowbog Road area. Flowbog Road, Hannahstown Road and Rusheyhill Road were all closed while police checked the area. All routes have since re-opened.

The main cross city motorway link has this afternoon been reopened after fresh bomb alerts this afternoon saw police investigating an abandoned vehicle that was left under the motorway bridge near Yorkgate in Belfast.

Viable Device Found In Co Tyrone
A viable device has been found following a security alert near Strabane, County Tyrone. A device was found on Ballyheather Road on Tuesday. The road has now been re-opened between the junctions of the Lisdivin Road and Clogher Road. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene.

A security alert in west Belfast has ended. Police have described the device, which was discovered in the Grosvenor Road area of the city as “viable.” A number of items have since been taken from the scene for forensic examination.
