Appeal For Information After Buses Damaged In Downpatrick

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of criminal damage on a number of buses at the Ardglass Road area of Downpatrick.

Sometime between 8.30pm on Thursday 28th July and 9am on Monday 1st August, it was reported that six buses parked in the area were damaged.

Making the appeal, Sergeant Curran, said: "This reckless act of criminal damage will have a detrimental impact on a number of children from the local community who heavily rely on this important service.

"Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to this incident, to contact police in Downpatrick on 101 quoting reference number 345 02/08/22. Appeal For Information After Speed Indicator Device Damaged

It was reported to police significant damage had been caused to the sign after it was removed from its post by a vehicle and later recovered on the nearby Glasgort Road.

Racially Motivated Hate Crime In South Belfast
Police are investigating a racially motivated hate crime that occurred in the Roden Street area of south Belfast on Monday, 4th November. At approximately 7:40pm, a large piece of masonry was hurled through the window of a family home, causing significant damage and injuring a young child and their mother.
