Victor Hamilton: Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man in Ballymena.

Victor Hamilton, 63, was found dead in the driveway of his house on Orkney Drive at around 7.50am on Wednesday.

The man was arrested shortly after 11.30am on Thursday in the Spring Meadows area of Armagh.

The suspect is being detained at Musgrave police station.

Police are appealing for information.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Third Person Arrested In Connection With Victor Hamilton Murder
Detectives investigating the murder of 63-year-old Victor Hamilton in Orkney Drive in Ballymena on Wednesday, July 27 have made a third arrest in the early hours of Sunday, July 31. A 33-year-old man Was arrested in the Portadown area on suspicion of murder, and remains in police custody.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder After Man Dies Following Attack
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died from his injuries after being assaulted in Coleraine. Mark Lamont, 54, was seriously injured after he was attacked outside a house on the Ballycastle Road in September. He died in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on Tuesday, 11 October.
