Cash And Drugs Seized In Newtownabbey

Cash and suspected Class B drugs have been seized in Newtownabbey as part of an investigation into suspected criminality linked to the South East Antrim UDA.

Detective Superintendent Neill said: "Following proactive searches of two residential properties in the Rathcoole area of Newtownabbey, we recovered an amount of cash and drugs and our investigation is ongoing.

"These searches and seizures are a demonstration of the PCTF's commitment to tackle all types of organised criminality linked to paramilitaries.

"I would like to thank the community for their continued support as we work to remove drugs which could have caused harm and addiction issues.

"I also appeal to anyone with information regarding any form of criminality, to call us in confidence on 101, or to submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Appeal For Information On West Belfast Burglary
Detectives in Belfast are appealing for information after a burglary in the Crocus Street area. Police said the incident occurred sometime between Saturday afternoon and 12.55am on Monday, December 9th. The homeowners returned to find their home ransacked. A watch, personal belongings, and a sum of cash were stolen.

Investigation Launched Into Burglary In North Belfast
Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary at a flat in the Cliftonville Avenue area of North Belfast. The incident occurred sometime between 10pm on Friday 6th December and 4pm on Saturday 7th December. During the burglary, a sum of money, a wallet, and a set of speakers were stolen.
