Ellvena Graham Appointed New Chair Of Tourism NI

Ellvena Graham has been appointed as the new Chair of Tourism NI, Economy Minister Gordon Lyons has announced.

Making the announcement, Minister Lyons said: "I am delighted that Ms Graham has accepted the role as Chair of Tourism NI. I am confident that she will bring significant experience to the role and play a key part in ensuring that this important sector goes from strength to strength in what promises to be an exciting time for tourism in Northern Ireland."

This appointment is made in accordance with the Code of Practice issued by the Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland. More information is available on the Commissioner for Public Appointments for Northern Ireland website.

Chair And Vice-Chair Of Sport NI Resign
The chair and vice-chair of Sport NI have stepped down from their posts. Sports Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has appointed interim staff to take their places. She has appointed Brian Delaney to act as interim chair and Dr Catherine O’Mullan to act as interim vice-chair.

New £4m NI Tourism Campaign Launches
Tourism Ireland has announced a new £4 million multi-media promotional campaign across Great Britain to promote short breaks and holidays in Northern Ireland. The campaign is a result of funding recently announced by Economy Minister Gordon Lyons to help Northern Ireland's tourism industry rebuild and expand post pandemic.
