Investigation Launched After Shot Fired At House In L'Derry
Police have launched an investigation after shot was fired at a house in Elon Dara, L'Derry, in the early hours of Tuesday, 21 June.
Detectives received a report at 12.20am that around 15 to 20 minutes earlier it is believed a hot had been fired causing damage to the front door of the house.
A woman, who was in the property at the time, was left shaken.
DetectiveSergeant Ballentine described it as a "reckless incident".
He said: “As our enquiries continue to establish what occurred and a motive, I would appeal to anyone with information, or who witnessed any suspicious activity in Clon Dara from around midnight to get in touch with us."

Belfast Hotel Plan Dropped: Report
A government-supported plan to build a hotel in central Belfast has been scrapped, the BBC has reported. Back in 2007, the Department for Social Development appointed Tullymore House Ltd as preferred developer for Armagh House in the city’s Ormeau Avenue, with plans to convert the building into an upmarket hotel.
