PSNI Name Man Who Died Following South Belfast Incident
A 34-year-old man who has died following an incident in Belfast on Friday 27 May, has been named as David Conville.
Mr Conville, from south Belfast, was injured during an altercation in the Abingdon Drive area of the city on Friday night.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Serious Crime Branch have reiterated an appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Neil McGuinness said: "The assault took place at approximately 8pm outside an address in Abingdon Drive on Friday 27 May. Officers attended, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and David was taken to hospital having sustained a serious head injury.
"Tragically, he passed away in the early hours of this morning, Monday 30 May.
"A 30-year-old man, charged with manslaughter, appeared before Belfast Magistrates' Court earlier today.
"Our enquiries continue and I would reiterate our appeal for anyone with information to come forward. If you were in the area around that time on Friday and if you saw or heard anything untoward, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please get in touch. Contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 1997 of 27/05/22."

Man Charged In East Belfast UVF Investigation
Detectives investigating the criminal activities of the east Belfast UVF have charged a man with a drug related offence. The 57 year-old will appear at Laganside Court on 12 December on the charge of possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Man Hospitalised After North Belfast Shooting
A man has been hospitalised following a shooting in north Belfast. Police are probing the paramilitary style incident in the Ardoyne area last night, Wednesday 21 August. The victim, a man in his forties, was shot in both legs. He is believed to be in stable condition today.

Two More Arrests In Disappeared Case
Two more people have been arrested in relation to an investigation into the 1972 abduction and murder of Jean McConville. On Thursday, police said two women, aged 57 and 60, had been arrested. They were arrested in the Greater Belfast area this morning (17 April) and have been taken to Antrim police station for questioning.
