Bomb-making factory uncovered in Co Tyrone
Dissident republicans are believed to have been behind a bomb-making base discovered by police in Co Tyrone.
The discovery was made at a flat in Lisnafin Park in Strabane. Four men have been arrested in connection with the find.
Detectives have confirmed that they found six live incendiary devices "primed and ready to go".
Officers described the discovery as a "major success" in combating dissident republican operations.
Security Minister Ian Pearson congratulated police on the operation. He said: "This is a significant blow to the dissident republican movement in the North West and will have undoubtedly averted potential loss of life.
"Individuals who engage in this type of activity are cowardly, callous and discredited, demonstrating a complete disregard for human life.
"I would urge the community to remain vigilant and report any further suspicious activity to the police."
