Man Shot And Beaten In Bushmills Attack
The PSNI have issued an appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of following a shooting incident in the Woodvale Park area of Bushmills last night, Wednesday 11th May.
Shortly after 11.10pm it was reported that a number of masked men entered a house armed with a gun and "wooden weapons".
A 19 year old man was shot in the leg, inside the house, before being dragged to the front garden and shot again in another part of the same leg. He was then beaten with the "wooden weapons" before the masked men left the property on foot.
The male was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which included gunshot wounds and a head injury.
It is understood that during the incident the gun was also pointed to a 19-year-old female who was inside the property at the time. She was uninjured but has been left shaken by the incident.
Detective Sergeant Gardiner said: "Enquiries are continuing and I would urge anyone with any information to call detectives on 101 quoting reference number 2109 11/05/22."
Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. A report can also be made online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Man In His 60s Shot In The Leg In L'Derry
Police in L'Derry have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident on Thursday night, 30 August. A man, aged in his 60s, suffered a gunshot wound to his leg when a number of masked men forced entry into a house in the Ballymagroarty area of the city at around 11pm.

Man Shot In Leg In North Belfast
A man has been shot in the leg in north Belfast. The incident happened in the Butler Walk area at around 10pm on Tuesday. The victim went to answer a knock at the door and before opening it he heard a loud bang and realised he had been shot in the leg. He received hospital treatment, however his injuries are not believed to be lift threatening.

Drive-by attack victim critical
Gardai in Dublin have found a burned out car which they believe was used in a drive-by shooting in the north of the city this morning (Friday). A 24-year-old is in a critical condition in hospital following the shooting which took place shortly after midnight.

Police in County Antrim have appealed for information after a man was shot during a paramilitary style attack at the weekend. The incident happened in the Parkmount Terrace area of north Belfast at around 9.15pm on Saturday evening, when a 24-year-old man was attacked from behind by two men.
