Appeal For Information On East Belfast Burglary

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a burglary in the Willowfield Drive area of east Belfast on Monday 9th May.

Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant McVeagh said: "Sometime between 11.00 and 11.30am, the homeowner aged in their 90s was at home alone when an unknown man who is described as wearing paint spattered trousers and a dark mask, knocked on the door then entered the property.

"He looked around the house then left, returning a short time later.
