Polls Open Across NI
Polling stations across NI are open as voting gets underway to elect 90 new members of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
Polls opened at 7am this morning, 05 May, and will remain open until 10pm tonight at some 600 locations across NI.
Approximately 239 candidates are competing for 90 seats across 18 constituencies. A record 87 women are standing in this year's election.

Polls have opened across Northern Ireland to decide who will sit on local councils across the region. Voting began at 7am this morning, Thursday 18 May, and will close at 10pm tonight. Approximately 807 candidates are contesting 462 seats across NI – a full list of which can be found on the Electoral Office website.

Counting Underway In NI Assembly Election
Counting is underway in Northern Ireland Assembly election, with the first results expected by Friday afternoon. The count is being conducted at Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, Ulster University in Jordanstown and Meadowbank Sports Arena in Magherafelt. 90 MLA's will be elected, with five being appointed across 18 constituencies.

Over 600 Polling Stations Open Across NI
Over 600 polling stations opened across Northern Ireland today, 23 June, for voters to decide whether the UK should remain a member of the European Union or leave. The polling stations opened at 7am and will close at 10pm. Voters are required to put an 'X' in either the Remain or Leave boxes.
